Project Designer | PFS Studio

I am a landscape architect and urban planner with a rich educational background and a diverse array of professional experiences. I earned my Master of Landscape Architecture from the John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design at the University of Toronto. My academic journey began with a Bachelor of Engineering in Urban Planning from Wuhan Institute of Technology, where I cultivated a solid foundation in architecture and urban development. I have honed my technical skills across various platforms, including Autodesk CAD, Rhinoceros, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), ArcGIS, Google Earth Pro, and Microsoft Office. My expertise extends to visual communication, problem-solving, critical and analytical thinking, and effective team collaboration.

Currently, I serve as a Project Designer at PFS STUDIO in Vancouver, BC, where I am involved in mixed-use projects addressing climate change adaptation and social integrity. My experience on a number of complex projects both in BC and Ontario has spanned from large scale planning assignments to detailed design and implementation projects. My notable academic research includes studies such as “Post-Industrial Riverfront Landscape” in Qingshan District, Wuhan, focusing on regenerating riverfronts along the Yangtze River, and “Symbiotic Landscape Design” in the Don River Valley, Toronto, where I analyzed ecological potentials from various perspectives. My innovative approach is showcased in the “Green Infrastructure Practice” project, where I worked on retrofitting subway station entrances in Wuhan to mitigate water-logging through integrated stormwater management strategies. With a strong focus on environmental sustainability, urban revitalization, and community engagement, I continues to contribute meaningfully to the fields of landscape architecture and urban planning.
