Junior Project Architect | McFarland Marceau Architect

I'm a junior project architect at McFarland Marceau Architect (MMA) based in Vancouver. I'm an alumni from Laval University in Quebec city, where my thesis project was about the place of play in our society and the potential of the concept of strange and curiosity in architecture in order to reactivate junkspace (terrain vague) in urban environment. I count now more than 5 years of professional experience that ranges from health care (with DMG architecture), theatres (with Jacques Plante architect) to schools and first nation projects (with MMA). I also was a teacher assistant and researcher during my time at Laval University. I'm currently the lead project architect of an Elementary School Addition in Surrey (approx. 80% construction completed to date) and also a First Nation Arbour in Dawson Creek (in design). My interest range from mass-timber construction, BIM, 21st century learning concept (for designing school), programmation, collaborative process and rational problem-solving. I'm also passionate of architectural photography and has recently contributed to the MMA photography portfolio.
