MEGAN VOGT

Principal | Site Studio Landscape Architects

Growing up primarily in Vancouver, Megan continues to find a strong sense of place and unending inspiration in the natural beauty, life and climate of the Pacific Northwest. This coastal experience was augmented by a few formative years spent in the agrarian, pine-scented and seasonally varied landscapes of the North Okanagan, explored primarily on horseback. Megan’s projects seek to inspire multi-sensory connection with and appreciation for such rich environments, which she believes can be enhanced at even the smallest scale by carefully seeing studying a site’s inherent characteristics and using a rigorous design process to express them in ways that are meaningful to her clients. Megan joined Paul Sangha Creative after completing her Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of British Columbia in 2010 as the top graduating student in her class. She was privileged to grow her professional, design and project management skillsets under the mentorship of Paul Sangha and pays this experience forward by mentoring intern landscape architects in their own career development. Megan also maintains her involvement in UBC’s School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture as a guest critic and lecturer. Megan left PSC in 2018 to establish a small collective practise focused on people-forward professionalism, responsiveness to client aspirations and site influences, and an inspired but grounded creative process to create enduring designs. This collective formally adopted the name Site Landscape Studio in 2023 to best express our vision and goal of siting each garden in its unique location.
