Architect | DIALOG

I was in my mid 20s before I decided to circle back to design and architecture after experiencing a short career as a professional firefighter. Being an older, more mature student, served me well in architecture school, since it does require a level of commitment that not many other programs do. I went to school at the University of Oregon, and afterwards moved back to California, where I grew up. I worked for small design oriented office called Blackbird Architects for 10 years and in 2011 I decided to make a change, and move to Vancouver, BC. Since then, I've been working for DIALOG. I've been involve with the UBC SALA mentor program for the past 8 years, which I've found has been a great way to keep in touch with the academic, and studio culture that most of us in architecture look back on with fond memories. It was a great time.
