Intern Architect | Leckie Studio/ AFBC

Through school work terms and since graduation, I’ve taken the goldilocks approach to testing out the field. I’ve worked with small, medium and large scales in both office size and project type before landing on the fit that felt just right. I enjoy the intimate level of collaboration and the attention to detail that I find in my current role at Leckie Studio, and love the recent exploration in standardized housing that we’ve been exploring that makes high level design accessible.

Currently, I’m heavily involved with the Architecture Foundation of British Columbia, helping build up the design community and exploring ways to encourage our industry to hold itself to a higher standard. I sit on the main Board, the Inclusion Diversity and Equity in Architecture (IDEA) committee, and Chair the Intern Committee. I want to have impact beyond the work that crosses my desk.

I received both my Bachelor of Environmental Design Studies and my Masters of Architecture at Dalhousie University. I’m a registered Intern (for now) as I’m writing the EXaC in November 2024. Originally from Northern Ontario, I have been lucky to get to experience both of Canada’s beautiful coasts.
